Art Eyewear by J.A. Tan
J.A. Tan is an amazingly talented artist. His mom commissioned a pair of custom frames from us back in 2008 from our Granville Island store and had such rave reviews that she recently sought us out in Gastown to have us craft 2 more: one for her and one for her husband. We created these frames by infusing the image into the acetate.
J.A. Tan is a Filipino-Canadian artist based in Vancouver, BC. He’s a graduate of Emily Carr University of Art and Design and has had solo shows around the world. One of his paintings was chosen by the United Nations for a postage stamp celebrating autism. As someone who is autistic himself, J.A. finds happiness in a difficult world through his art.
