Workshop Details

Over the course of three days, you will learn all the steps necessary to handcraft an acetate frame:

  • Day 1 - you will design, cut, and shape the front of your frame.

  • Day 2 - by the end of the day, the front will be refined and ready for polishing.

  • Day 3 - you will work on the temples and attach them to form a complete frame.

Our workshop is open to anybody 19 or older.

Please note that some of the steps in the framemaking process require prolonged standing and manual dexterity. If you have any concerns about accessibility, please do not hesitate to contact us.
